POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the
Director of Sales, act as a liaison between the customer, Customer Service,
Planning, and
Production to ensure that a quality product is being sold and
produced that meets or exceeds our customers’ expectations. Work with customers
on job specifications of diversified work of a technical nature to include
4-color process, with a focus on new prospect identification and new business
development along with increasing sales by growth within current customer base.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Communicate with
Customers and Prospects to analyze and solve product needs on products, programs
and projects that meet our customers’ expectations while ensuring company goals
are met.
Identify and
contact new Prospect accounts, report and analyze data, and maintain/increase
customer base in line with partner designed action plan, HC Miller’s marketing
plan, forecasts and company goals.
Prepare requests
for quotes, using standard HC Miller order forms and estimating department, to
accurately reflect the needs of the customer and achieve acceptable margin for
HC Miller. Occasionally prepare standard “pricer” quotes using HC Miller pricer
lists and order forms. Convert estimates into proposals as
needed.
Work with the
customer base and HCM accounting department to verify credit worthiness of
existing and new
accounts.
Coordinate with
existing customers to solicit feedback, provide information and resolve
problems. Reviews service needs, recommends additional and enhanced services
and promotes continued, positive relationships to increase customer
retention.
Accurately and
thoroughly complete all sales related paperwork and updates in marketing/sales
database.
Support HCM3 in
community efforts, such as trade shows, civic events, etc. through such
activities as managing the planning for an event and working at the
event.
